BIKE, BARGE & PAINT THROUGH IMPRESSIONIST FRANCE
September 22 - 29, 2026
Ready for a creative adventure?
Trace the shimmering curves of the Seine and the quiet poetry of the Oise, painting your own impressions where Monet, Morisot, Pissarro, and Van Gogh once stood. Travel by bicycle along riverside trails and off-the-beaten pathways, while our boutique barge glides ahead to hold your comfort and logistics, leaving you free to create.
Step into a creative adventure unlike anything else. Over seven luminous days, you’ll cycle along the Seine and Oise rivers whose shifting light and quiet rhythms shaped the early masters of Impressionism. These are the landscapes where Monet studied atmosphere, where Morisot painted from her boat, where Pissarro followed the working riverfront, where Cézanne broke form into structure and color, and where Van Gogh painted his final, blazing visions.
On this journey, you won’t just see their views. You’ll create your own impressions of them as we travel slowly along riverside trails and off-the-beaten pathways where the Impressionists captured scenes more than 200 years ago.
We move with intention—by bicycle or e-bike—through poplar-lined paths, quiet canals, riverside villages, and wheat-gold hillsides. We stop often, not because we must, but because beauty keeps interrupting us. You’ll photograph, sketch, and paint en plein air at the very sites where the Impressionists once stood, attuning yourself to the same winds, light shifts, and subtle colors that moved them more than a century ago.
Meanwhile, our boutique barge glides ahead each day, becoming your floating sanctuary. Your cabin, meals, comfort, and exhale await you at day’s end. There are no logistics to manage, no schedules to juggle, no decisions to make. The barge holds all of that, allowing you to remain fully in your creative flow.
